Default GM Tech Article about 10 Bolt

They talked about overhauling the 10 bolt on a car and what they put into it. They bought new axles, bolts, new gears and a new posi unit. that's pretty much all they listed...and it was supposed to hold an LS6 engine with some Bolt ons. Now, i priced those same parts and it came out to $500+ plus installation of those parts..another $3-400. Well apparently that rear end is holding up as the LS6 is throwin 442 hp to the wheels. Now is that ALL of the parts... or is there more? Would you think its worth it? (They also noted as the 10 bolt doesnt suck up more HP far as drivetrain loss as its small and more "efficient"..what do ya'll think? opinions?

^^ im with him, don't throw any money at that 10 bolt. Save the money to put toward a 9", s60, or 12 bolt.

It holds 442hp to the wheels....for now, few hard launches and it'll be toast.
