Default 20 miles on new gears, are they toast ?

I got another set of 4.56 gears in my 9 inch and they are loud as **** during acceleration and deceleration, howling like a bitch, something with the gear setup is wrong.....anyways, I have right at 20 miles on them, bout to pull the center section out to get it straightened out, are the gears toast or can they be reset up correctly and be quiet, are they always gonna be loud now??

I would say its a possibly to get them to quiet down some. Probably wont ever get all the noise out as I'm sure there is a wear pattern on them already.

With only 20 miles on them you still have a chance to get them to quiet down. Bob

I agree they are not worn in yet. Reset them.
