Im about to swap to m6 and put 411gears in. How many passes could I do at the track on street tires with the hp and tq im making before my rear grenades? Im just worried that I wont be able to go to the strip after I do the swap?

10 bolts behind an m6 and hard launch isnt a good combo.

id start saving for something stronger or stay with an auto.

411 gears that rear is not going to last. Get the new rear.

I've had pretty good luck with my 10-bolt and 4.10's (knock on wood). I've been to the track on hoosier qtp's as well. A lot of it is how you drive and shift the car. Stick to street tires and or a soft side wall tire for the track. Any 10-bolt being pushed is living on borrowed time unfortunately.

I know that everyone says autos are much easier on 10 bolts but, what about when a high stall converter is added. earlier tonight after some playing with a srt challenger My tc started slipping so now Im in the process of looking for a good stall. I just want to know how well it will work with the 10 bolt.

I have a 4k stall in my car on a stock 10bolt.made tons of passes over past 2yrs both track and street and its still together. I also spray my car and 60 in mid to high 1.4. 4k stall turns into a 4500 stall on nitrous

I broke my 10 bolt on the highway going into 3rd gear. And that's with stock gears...

You're doing it wrong. You care about launching and drag racing and you're swapping to a manual. Lol Do yourself a favor, keep the auto.

Irrelevant, still the twig theory.
I cut 1.50-1.52s barely spinning full weight on motor.. Rear is still strong and whine free. Planning on some 1.48s next track visit.

They have been 1.3s behind autos, manuals break them with 2.2 short times.

Im not planning on racing alot and I found a m6 for cheap. Maybe I should run 342s or 373. I do most of my playing on the street...are 12 bolts good?

12 bolts for autos, 9" for manual.
Auto get to save some weight in that department.
