So i need to swap my rear end. i was thinking a 9" over a 12 bolt, but do i want a strange or a moser?
Can someone chime in with some info on this and help me make a educated choice...

I have a 00 Trans Am, 6-speed.. and i know i need to swap the rear before i hit the track because if i hookup im going to SMASH it!!!!
Then all i will have is cool little pieces to hang on my key chain..

Strange makes better products then Moser.. 9" over 12 bolt for strength, lots of guys with early gear whine with 12 bolt. 9" slighty heavier then 12 bolt and you will lose a few more dyno numbers with 9". Call Midwest Chassis

We do not suggest the 12-bolt for these vehicles as they have similar issues the 10-bolt does. Strange itself does not make a 9" for the F-body but they do make an S-60 for the F-body that is very popular and we sell quit a bit of them through the year as well as our Fabricated nine inch package that is the best bang for the buck on the market today.

With our package you get a fabricated housings with center section, axles, torque arm, and cross member at a similar price that you will spend on a stamped style rear end.

Currie also makes a great 9" and I would use them over Moser. Strange S60 is probably the strongest bolt in option for the Fbody though.
