Default Gear whine after fluid change!!!!!!!

I have a question. I have a Moser 12-bolt with true trac diff. It has only about 8,000-miles on it, I recently swapped from regular fluid to the royal purple
and now I am getting alot of gear whine. Should I change back to regular fluid, any recommendations? Also I need to replace the pinion seal, do i need a new pinion nut and crush sleeve? Thanks

It think moser recommends non synthetic oil. 12s are known to whine a little anyway but if it started immediately after I would go back to the other oil.

I dont like synthetic oil for the rear end. I had a dead quiet set of 3.90s in my 9" with 2K miles on them get totally destroyed after four passes at the strip. After the last pass and on the way home, they screamed bloody murder on accell and were still quiet on decell. Oh and I put synthetic oil in the rear just prior to going to the strip.

Nothing moved in the rear, the gears were burned up as a result of intense heat. After researching on the net, I found others who had similar issues with synthetic in the rear. No more synthetic rear gear oil in my car.

Instructions from Moser I think say do not use synthetic fluids, if I remember correctly.
