9" rear, 4.10s for N/A or nitrous... or if your gonna boost it later on, 9" and your current gears or maybe even 2.73s

if it's an a4 get a high stall first.

2800 is not a noticeable stall. 3600 and higher is noticeable. You have a decent gear ratio,couple it with a high stall and you would be suprised in the difference.

I had a 95 Z28 A4 with lt's, exhaust, 3500 stall, and 4.10's. It was pretty damn quick, for an lt1. I loved the 4.10's. Drove it from south florida to tulsa, oklahoma. I think I got 18mpgs. I would go with 4.10's. LT1's need all the help they can get
