What are you doing with the car? What RPM are you looking to get at what speeds? Are you just trying to get things back to how they were before you put the new tire size on? More info? lol

I want the best quarter mile time possible, dont care about gas mileage or anything, it doesnt feel too bad with the 3.70 gears I just think I might be able to get a little more out of it with the 4.11

The main purpose of changing your gearing is to tune in your RPM at the end of the quarter mile. You want to set the car up so that you are hitting just past peak RPM in 3rd gear once you are hitting the finish line. That is the best set up you could do for the track.

Listen to ethan. You typically change gears to obtain optimum power in a certain gear. If its a T56, then your looking for that power in 4th gear. You don't hear to many guys who really know about how to tell what ARE the correct gears for a particular car. If your just looking to drive it on the street, then swapping gears in the rear doesn't really do anything except change the feel and make you rip thru gears in the trans sooner, which won't matter if your only driving on the street.
