stock rear end minor suspension work standard automatic transmission for 2001 z28 which said of gears will best fit a for street and track but give me what I need

335 45 18 440 at peak but changing soon adding some stuff will be looking at 500+

For your car i would go with 3.73's. Assuming you have 3.23's now it would be a nice improvement. JMO

3.90's hear.....no complaints. I run close to the same size tire on the street 255/40/18. RPM at 70mph 2450. 2900 at 80 mph

I think the only hesitation I have is it is a street car and I have ran 150+ mph before does that matter

I pulled mine on the freeway last week to 140+ only reason I got out of it I was approaching traffic. I don't recall where my rpm was beacuse I was watching my AFR gauge.

I would run 3.73... Good performance down low and up top... And will not kill you MPG... that is if u care
