It's all preference. The more you take off the rear the deeper the dish of the wheel. The stance and clearance will only change if you don't get your wheels made to match how much you cut off.

I edited my last post so you can see the pictures between 5" & 5.5" backspacing.

Couple pics of my MWCFAB9 narrowed 3" a side.

Bogart RT wheels.
15x4 front and 15x10 rear.Rear tires are M/T ET Street Radial 325/50/15.

I just like the deep look, the ride is no different than stock width.

GOOD LUCK!

thanx!

i think stock is 7".5,so you minus the 3" = 4".5......

yes,you can bolt everything back up,if you go more than 4" a side then you can start running in to problems.

someone else please chime in if i am off.....its been a while and my memory aint what it used to be...
now what the hell were we talking about...?

good luck!

Default MWC Fab 9" Rearend / Narrowed 2.5" per side

Im Running 15x10 Weld Racing RTS Wheel with 5.5" Backspacing.
I had to cut off my bumpstops to gain inside wheel clearance.

Picture... http://www.socalmuscle.net/forum/att...9&d=1330229952

I also had to grind my Rear Calipers to get my 15x10 wheels to fit.

I still need to buy wheel spacers ( 5/16") with Longer wheel studs to kick the wheel out a bit as i am currently running less than 30 % rear brake pads.

New or full brake pads push the brake caliper out to far & they rub on the inside of the Weld wheels.

My Rear wheels tuck in real nice with this set-up.

You should call Eric at Midwest Chassis & Performance.

He can tell you exactly what you need as far as axle length / wheel & tire size.
