I have a S60 in my car and couldn't be happier! I went with the detroit locker option and the car drives like stock and makes no noise. Its nice being able to spray the 150 shot and not having to worry anymore. Give Carl @ CRP a call about the s60, awesome rearend and kick *** customer service.

I picked the locker because it was 70 bucks over a s-trac at the time and made the rear alot stronger. You'd honestly never know I have a locker or S60 if you were riding in the car (feels like a stock rearend). My favorite part is that I have no gear whine, my buddies 12bolt howled like crazy and when I picked a rearend I told Carl I didn't want any gear whine.

Not mine. Rears on chicks or cars are a matter of taste. I wanted the least unsprung weight and a watts link so I went with the mwc 9", Bob and Carl both give great service on good products so its just a matter of what exactly you want. . .I wouldnt build a go cart with c clip axles, but that may just be me.

I just ordered a 9'' housing from quick performance and a rebuilt NASCAR nodular 3rd member with a Daytona pinion support and Detroit locker. It cost me right at 1100 shipped for the housing and 800 for the 3rd member. I went with the 9'' based on price more than anything else. I couldnt find a dana 60 or a 12 bolt with a locker for that price. On top of that the 12 bolt aint that strong and the dana 60 is heavy. Another plus for the 9'' is parts availability.

If anything you want 3.90's. Biggest mistake these guys make is over gearing these cars.

I don't remember that being a option but you could always ask. I just bought one from them a few weeks ago, it was really easy to assemble.

So just for clarification, are the gears set already or are you saying you set the gears up as well.

If I ever change the rear end in mine, I will go with the s60. From what I have read it is easier to fit up and the 9in requires more installation work. I do have a soft spot for the Dana 60 from the old days. They don't break, work well and are trouble free. To be fair I had a nodular 9in with a locker too, and it worked great. Maybe I just like the cover shape on the 60 or something.

Center section came assembled, just drop it in the housing & put the axels in. Simple deal

Default MWC Fab 9" Rocks !

Go with a MWC Fabricated 9".
This Rearend is VERY Strong, & Light.

Tru Trac is great for Street & Drag Racing.
The MWC Fab 9" is a Fully Adjustable Rearend.
You can adjust your pinion angle with this rear.

This rearend is a Complete Bolt in Rearend.
It comes with Torque arm, Axles, Tunnel Brace/ Torque arm mount
with Driveshaft Loop.

Great customer service over at MWC.
They will advise you on your application & walk you through the whole process.
I went with the short torque arm that shocks the rear tires for a better Bite. Also went with the Back Brace option for more strength.

I got my S60 for around $2450 shipped to my door, 3.73s, no abs, LSD, with my brakes on it that I sent in. It works great and I like it, probably could have gone with the 12 bolt to save weight but at the time I didn't think I was going automatic. They are about the same price though so pick your poison. I think you could get around $2k shipped for either the 12 bolt, S60 or 9" if you go with a spool. 9" rears are awesome too, I just didn't want to have the "ford" rear end battle everytime my car was on a lift or someone asked me lol.
