Default 3;23 to 3:73.. Worth it?

Is it worth the 350 bucks to put in the 3:73s if i already have the gears?

If you have an automatic then 3.73 is what I've done in the past and was happy with it. 4.10 is usually the main choice for individuals. Including myself but for 6-speeds.

3.73s are a great all-aorund performance ratio. If you already have the gears it should be an easy decision.

I would apply that $350 towards the cost of a good stall which will give way better gains than going up .50 in gearing not to mention leaving mileage at cruise alone and the higher the gears ( numerically) the weaker the rear is

then there is the possibility of an install or gearset issue where you end up with a noisy rear like my 373 car lol

During my h c build last summer I decided to do 3.73 from 3.23. Figured I would just do it. IDK if its anyfaster but it feels good. Car now shifts into od (4th) around 120mph instead of around 130mph.

They "feel" great. The gains are minimal at best, usually none.
