I have my stock rear with 3.73 now. Heads/cam/4400 converter and suspension mods. Need a stronger rear.
If the right deal on a 12 bolt comes along has 4.10 gears - what rpm change should I expect in overdrive at 70 mph?
Right now at 70mph I'm taching about 2500 rpm.
In 3rd across the 1/4 mile traps I'm just at 6000 rpm.
I figure the car will race quicker but how bad will the highway cruise get hurt.
Can I run a 1" taller tire to help compensate?
