M6 3.73<4.10
Currently have 3.73 gears on the car but initially had those installed cause it was a auto car before the swap.
Since then I've swapped out the cam and was wondering if I would benefit by switching the gears to a 4.10 ratio.

Yes .... Go for The 4.10 Gears. 3.73s with a 6 speed is a waste of time.

4.10s would def help with your cam and you no doubt changed the valve springs so you're good for what I expect would be a 115-120 trap on 26" tire. Leave the 10 bolt w/3.73s alone and if you blow it up step up to a S60/9" with 4.10 or 4.30s. With a M6 don't waste money on the 10 bolt, I know I did.

Based on your signature, I think you would like how the 4.10 compliments your setup. I went from 3.42 to 3.90 to 4.10 and wish I would've gone straight to the 4.10s.
My car is a street car and road race setup -- 4.10's are obviously not ideal for the road course, however I haven't pulled the trigger on changing because the car feels so lively on the street.
While the jump from 3.73 to 4.10 isn't huge like the jump from 3.42 to 4.10, I can attest it is a very noticeable difference. The "pro" is that it compliments your cam well and would eliminate any lower rpm dead spots you have. The "cons" would be gas mileage and the fact that you'll be shifting more.

^^^another 'con' is that they are ever so slightly weaker (strength wise) than 3.73s and 3.42s, at least in (already weak) 10 bolt, 7.5" configurations.

Cheaper if you've got a guy or you're doing the labor yourself. If you're looking at an 8.8 from hawks or something they get pricey fast. It's worth researching, since I needed everything (TA, LCAs, D/S, rear, watts link, etc..) I ended up going MWC because it was only marginally more expensive than my other options and included everything I needed.
