Default Stock rear axel

So I know after some reading the rear axels are a week link in the setups, is there anything I can do to beef it up or am I stuck swapping out the whole rear also my car is an auto, just interested to know my options for down the road

No you can build it up a bit but it's still going to be very weak compared to a good aftermarket rear. You can buy aftermarket axles, weld the tubes, better girdle, etc....

any sponsors make a kit? i never had to deal with building up rear ends, my fox all i did was do c clip eliminators and its been handling everything i have thrown at it just had to build the trac lok in it a couple times

I would just throw a studded girdle on there and run it until it goes. It will last a long time behind a auto.

thats what i herd was they last awhile when an auto is in the equation, girdle is just a diff cover.?

Yeah its a cover with studs in it that you tq down to preload the bearing caps. There are several brands on summit, jegs, etc
