I have an '02 Z28 with a stock t56 and a procharger. I am getting ready to order a 9" rear and was wondering which gears would be better? The car is mostly street driven with 1-2 trips to the track a year.

Depending on how much power you're planing on I'd consider staying with the stock rear end gear

i wnet with 3.50 gears because i plan to add more power than what i have now . 3.73 if you plan to stay around 600 hp

I wouldn't go any higher than 3.50's for 600+ hp street car. When I ditch the stock 3.42 gears I'm going to try some 3.25's. 1ST gear in my car gets a little dicey some times and I'm only making 616 at the wheels. 3.25's should make for some long pulls on the hi-way too.

Everyone has their own opinion, when I had a D-1SC in my Camaro at 7 psi of boost, I liked the 4.11 gears. A 3.70 gear is a good compromise as an all around gear to go with. Bob
