Default 8.8 Hybrid with a spool?

I'm sure I'm not the only guy that's thinking this so here goes. I'm going to (or strongly considering) do a TNT hybrid. I've already got the 8.8 center section, girdle cover and tube braces as well as 4.10 gears. Clearly the easy to do thing here is to just rebuild the Trac Lok but I'd really like to just spool it and be done. In all honesty I'd kill for the MWC fab 9 but I just can't afford it at the moment with plenty of irons in the fire doing other things to the car. I just know that my weakest link is the 7.5 as I've already busted and rebuilt it once.
Having said that after rambling to do the spool I believe that I must have c clip eliminators so what can I do to make the spool work, c clip eliminators and keep my LT1 rear brakes? Originally my car was 4 channel car but I've deleted ABS already. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Yes, you need to eliminate the c-clips, but I'd just get big Ford housing ends from Strange or Midwest Chassis. I'm not positive but I believe they have ends that will allow you to use your existing brakes.

I would strongly suggest going with at least a Strange S60. I say this even if you do not purchase it from us, I strongly suggest you go with a Strange S60. Trust me when I say you will be money ahead. We have had multiple customers replace their 8.8 builds in the past couple of years with either a S60 or one of our fabricated nine inches.

If you do go that route we do have the correct housing ends to keep your factory brakes.

I've decided to go the route of your Fab 9. I sent a pm a few days ago regarding when your next sale is and haven't gotten a response. I have funds available but I'd like to wait on a sale if possible because money saved is money saved and I have a whole lot of it going out these days. Maybe I can get an answer here, thanks guys. -James

I apologize for the no answer. You may have messaged "MidwestChassis" but I am currently the only employee giving help on LS1Tech currently however I will put another employee back on that name to help answer PM's.

Now for your question, we will be having a Black Friday sale. Discounts on housings are up in the air currently. We typically do something but I am aware of this years discounts at this time so please check back at a later date.

You can give me your email address and we can at least get your options figured out to save us both a little time during the busy season. We typically sell 5 to 10 housing packages a day during Black Friday sales so its always best to be first inline by being prepared.
