Car has an ly6/ whipple 2.9 / 4l85. Has an s60 in it now , but pinion sits a little high . Can’t get a decent u joint angle . It’s just out of spec. Vibrates on hyway . I would like a stamped housing , powder coated. 35 spline , s trac, 3.40 alum center section ( if it will handle hp) big ford ends ,with wilwood brakes w/ parking brake , red calipers . Car is lowered 2in . Ride tech coil overs. I’ve tried all sorts of things to get a better angle . I was told the pinion on a ford 9 is an inch lower than a Dana 60. It would solve all my problems . Also the highest gear you can get in an s60 is 3.54. This is mainly a street car with trips to the track . It revs a little on hyway with a 26 in tire . Also it runs out of gear in 3rd at about 1000 ft mark . 130mph I have to shift into 4th at the track. I originally wanted 3.25 but i don’t want to lose too much acceleration. I fig 3.40 would be a good compromise.
I also don’t need any spring perches. Just upper and lower control arm brackets , as coilover bracket attaches to lower control arm bracket . Unless there is a better way that’s not gonna cost me a bunch of loot .

There is always a cheaper price option out there but with cheaper rearend cost it means cheaper product.

Strange G-Body Housing Part Number: HF9GGME $835.00
Strange 35 spl Alloy Axles Part Number: P3502 $439.00
Strange S Series Nodular Case W/ Ring & Pinion and Grip pro Differential: $1250.00
Powder Coating $159.00
Can be assembled also would need to know brakes.

For a street car you don't want the aluminum light weight case as you will here more gear noise. Now if you mean the HD pro that is a different situation.

I want the s trac . Brakes are B2708wc-red or the 11 in wilwood as long as the calipers are red .what about pinion support? Car is 650-700 rwhp . How much more is the HD pro alum case? I wonder what the weight difference is , if it’s even worth it . I’ll try to give you a call tomorrow . If you can get me a good deal, I’ll order it .

How does your housing differ from the QP version?

What is quoted above is a Strange housing however our housings are a fabricated housing, we also have in the works a fabricated housing for the G-Body platform.
