Just to add to this, I bought an S60 through MWC. They are awesome to deal with. Looking back I should have just bit the bullet, spent the extra $1000 and got the MWC 9". The S60 has some good attributes, but requires some more tweaking than commonly known.

Brake line "tabs" are a joke. Sway bar mounting brackets holes were not going to work for the OEM method of using a U-bolt fyi. There's a few other things but I can't think of them off the top of my head. Pretty minor outside the common issues known. Enough to be frustrating. Only and only reason why I went S60 was I already had an aftermarket torque arm. Haven't got to drive my car enough to see if I have the 4 channel issue that many have. It's apart in the garage waiting for my lazy self to fully bolt up the RPM 4L60/FTI 4k stall and run an independent cooler.

The S60 is a stout piece and a simple installation just as the MWC Fab 9 was. What issues did you run into with the S60?

I was under the impression that UMI swaybar bracket adapters would fit.

Was it plug and play without any ABS/TCS issues? I’m kind of on the market and while doing my homework I stumbled on enough threads about “ABS/TCS inop” to make me a little leery.

Plug and play yes.

Have I had lights ,,,,,,,,, YES

I was warned when i bought it. Some have had some good luck some have not. I do NOT drive my car in rain or bad weather so it doesnt bother me more than the annoying lights on the dash...my hopes is they burn out eventually lol

When making more power than the car was desinged for you're going to run into issues with certain components not functioning properly. The 4 channel system with traction control was retained with my S60 and it functions but does it work properly with 550+rwhp? No not really but it does still work with normal driving and coming onto wet roads when the tires let go. The ABS INOP light is another issue which is a direct result of incorrect tire sizes.

After reading bunches and bunches of threads about abs inopp with aftermarket rears on these it appears the problem is the placement of the reluctor rings or something along those lines. People try to shim up the sensor to try and change the distance the sensor is from the rings to try and remedy the issue. I believe people have had issues using the same tires they were previously using. I don’t think everyone changed tire sizes after a rear end swap.

I have two sets of tires.

Ones that are bone stock sizes front and rear and then drag strip ones.

I have had that ABS INOP light on BOTH sets where as with factory rear end I had zero lights.

As mentioned before I was warned and I accepted it.

Not difficult, I purchased the 3 channel kit from SJM but they sell a 4 channel kit. Here's a video that explains what all is done to delete the ABS.

I went the lazy route and used this:

https://www.burkhartchassis.com/prod...ck-brake-lines (burkhart chassis)

Bolts right in place of factory ABS module. I used this after i was getting lights and said if I am going to have lights might just as well delete it lol.

Would you recommend not taking the gamble & paying extra for a 4ch rear since it’s likely one would have to pay even more to delete the ABS when it doesn’t work? Sorry for mucking up the thread, I’m just trying to figure out which way to go when the time comes.

From all the threads I've read thru it seems like a real hit or miss deal. I'd just get rid of it altogether
