Default Midwest Chassis 9”

This isn’t meant to bash, but I have concerns and I don’t know what to do.
I ordered a complete (unassembled) fabricated 9” on Black Friday 2023 and I’m still waiting for it! They keep saying the same thing, “it’s getting close”. I did get axles sent to me, but that’s it.
I have considered canceling my order and buying something else, but now I have the axles.
has anyone else had this problem? Is it really that bad out there? I’m not sure what to do!

That's crazy long and I'd be on the phone and/or sending emails trying to get an explanation. I have made calls to them in the past and getting through can be a challenge as they prefer emails but on Monday mornings around 9AM Central I've actually spoken to someone. My experience with Midwest Chassis was a good one but that's not really saying much because businesses can and do over time fail due to the stresses caused from supply and demand.

I would have canceled that order months ago. Definitely cancel and spend your hard earned money with a business that has good customer service.

I cannot say that I don't agree with you.

who is to say cancelling the order will result in his money getting returned in a timely manner? I'd file a claim with whatever payment method you used.

Just got off the phone with them about purchasing a manual rack for my 99 car. Pretty responsive if you ask me and coming from someone who has a MWC Fab 9 it's worth the wait as long as the lines of communication are met.

I really do want their fab 9" because I've heard it was the best.

It is the best. I've got one in my car too. It's well worth the wait

We did come in contact and it looks promising. I hate being a "pain", because I understand that companies are struggling, but I work in the automotive parts business and it rare that it takes 9 months to fulfill orders.

Mine took about 5 months before it got shipped out. It was actually the axles getting Strange that took most of that time. Once they had them they shipped everything out. I'm in Western Canada too

Glad to see there was a happy ending and yes that was without doubt a very long wait time. I can tell that you're a patient person which is rare to see these days. Good luck with everything going forward.

I quit using them years ago to do that they’re lackluster time frames! There are plenty other places out there that do as good if not better work and they get the **** out less than their wait times! I’d get your money back and look elsewhere… This timeframe is inexcusable!

kinda agree here. especially dealing with a company who will allow others to bump you when they offer some extra $$$

I did get my complete order as of 8-24-24. Everything looks great as expected!
I'm not mad, I understand that they must be understaffed, but 9 months was too long. For their sake, I hope they will hire more people.
