Default What is the "standard" Yoke on a Moser 12bolt

Ok, I have been installing the moser 12 bolt in my car the past few nights. I finally got it all together and the only thing I needed to do was install the drive shaft.. well the sob won't fit. The U-joint is too wide by just a little bit from cap to cap. When I ordered the 12 bolt I ordered the following options, 33spline axles, HD posi, and 3 channel ABS.. I didn't specify what yoke I wanted, so I guess I got the standard one. Here is my questions...

1. On a Moser 12 bolt, what is the "standard" yoke
2. What is the physical differences between a 1310 and 1350 yoke
3. If I do have a 1350 yoke, I need a NAPA #447 U-joint?

Thanks for any help you can offer

I think they will set it up with a 1250 rear pinion yoke unless you specify you want smaller ones.

1250 or 1350?? Also, if it was a 1350.. wouldn't my stock U joint be too small? The problem I'm having is that my stock U joint is too large for the moser yoke.
thanks

Too large?? That's weird. The 1350 is an option and is larger than the stock 1310, but not nessarily wider. Who knows what Moser put on there. What's it say on the build sheet that came with the rear? Should have it on there. Try the Napa one and see if it fits the yoke.

I didn't get a build sheet with it After much research this morning I am pretty sure I have a 1310 yoke on the rear and my stock U joint needs to be replaced with a precision 372 to adapt the Fbody 3R/Saginaw 44 yoke to the moser's 1310 yoke. This thing has been the largest pain in the *** "bolt on" I've ever messed with.... everything from having to hunt up 8pcs of 3/8 24 nuts (they give you the bolts but not the nuts), making your own sway bar bracket, having to secure your brake lines with wire ties, and their non existant build sheet...

Even it if comes with a 1310 yoke.. your stock U joint MAY fit, but it won't be the right one. You'll still need the precision 372 joint to adapt to the fbody drive shaft yoke.

Just talked to Moser, they said i would need to take it to a NAPA and take my drive shaft and have them measure it and give me the conversion. he also said that they usually come with a 1350 yolk.

Hmmm, I was thinking the stock U joint WAS a 1310. I thought the only time you needed the crossover U-joint was going from the stock to the 1350 series. Did you call Moser?

I just got back from NAPA, the joint you want is a precision #372.. it converts the 3R saginaw 44 yoke on the stock ds to the 1310 on the moser, fits great. So I guess I got a 1310 on my rear.

The 1350 yoke uses u-bolts, but I think the smaller one uses straps like my stocker did.

And getting your caliper carriers on the axles before getting the bearings pressed on ...

If you get a 1350 yoke you will need a #447 from Napa... hell, I'm a U-joint expert after all of this

You need a new u-joint, but it is something like #447. You can find it if you search using maybe 1350, moser, u-joint, etc.
