what is the best gear oil for a 12 bolt moser with an eaton posi 4.10

80w-90 non synthetic. you need to search next time man. make sure you get the limited slip additive too.

If you're going to beat up on your rear axle, real dinasoar gear oil is the way to go.....my opinion, from experience. WJ

use 85 140
gets rid of the whine..i use two bootles of additive

I use 80W-90 in my Moser 12 bolt. I think I used Valvoline.

speed inc recomeends 85-140... in all fbdoy reareends(10bolt or 12 bolt)
thats what i use btw

I called Strange yesterday, they said non synthetic 80-90 weight. I don't know why not 85-140 --->thicker viscosity, more protection, cooler temps...
