I have been using the T/A girdle on my '02 Hawk for about 2,000 miles. I have been moderately abusive to my differential and it is now making noise on decel. I don't drive the car any differently than my '94--which has 125k miles and makes no sound from the diff. The girdle wasn't worth one in my opinion because I am now in the process of getting my '02 repaired. Food for thought.

What's that '94 putting out for HP? Are we comparing apples for apples here? I've had 1 TA cover and 2 different hardened studbolt kits on 2 different LS1's, a '99 M6, and a '02 A4. Very good results for me. The TA quality surpasses the others....My opinion. WJ

YOU ARE TOTALLY RIGHT. I completely forgot to mention that the "Hawk has plenty more "oats" than the '94. Still, the '94 has all bolt-ons, while the 'Hawk doesn't. When I mention driving the same, I mean slamming next gear during a race. I just think that the money is better spent elsewhere than on a girdle for a 10 bolt which is always on "borrowed" time no matter what you do to it.

They're pretty much all the same. I have 130 plus track passes on my MAC girdle with zero failure.

I've seen many, many f-body owners go with the TA. Some thing must be good about it. Another vote for TA here!

Monkey see, Monkey do...That's almost as bad as hear-say.

Since all the girdles offered preload the bearings, the next main goal is to strengthen the housing to reduce flex. The T/A, MAC, and G2 covers are almost identical structure-wise. The MAC cover is the cheapest @ only $123 with FREE shipping. Copy and paste:

There isn't any reason to spend a dime more for the same cover...
