which SFC...
which SFC... i'm about to pick up some SFC... I know everyone talks highly of BMR especially b/c of the price...but i was wondering if the cross ones like the Double diamond and SLP's are better?? which to buy? ? ?
Re: which SFC... I had the Kenny Brown DDSFC's on my T/A, and they worked GREAT. They really helped for those hard launches. However, they're HEAVY. You're looking at adding over 30 lbs. with the DDSFC's. I put a set of the BMR's on my SS, and I love them. They weighed in at around 17 lbs. I believe, and that's not bad at all. I had them installed with 490 miles on the car because I knew what kind of 60' times I was looking for. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0"> Knock on wood, I've yet to develop any rattles or squeaks.

Re: which SFC... I’m using the SLP 3-points. They seemed to stiffen up the car much more than the two points that I put on my old third gen Formula. I like them, I’ve had no problems or issues with them. Fit was great.

Re: which SFC... If your going to road race or autoX then the Kenny Browns are the hot ticket. If going to straight line then I would go with BMR's or the Hotchkis's. Its all a matter of how stiff you want it and what your going to use the car for. The Kenny Brown would in my guess be the stiffist because of how many points they use to connect to the underbody.

I've had BMR on my '97Z that was very strong and I'm putting Hotchkis on my '01. They seem a little less stout but still have to be better than the stock setup. Re: which SFC... I have all BMR products except for my STB. Let me tell you, I jacked up my car using a floor jack toward the rear of one of my SFCs and 3 wheels came off the ground. <img src="images/icons/shocked.gif" border="0"> That is stiff!!!
