yeah.. I hear that. Then you get the evil stare down in public like in a parking garage when you have to head to the top with it banging and jerking all the way

very mildly, can hardly tell. harshest engagement is right hand turns

You'll get used to it quick. Kind of sucks driving slowly in a parking lot though.

31 spline

ive been driving around on my slicks the past few days and you cant even notice a difference with the slicks on. i guess the tires take up a lot of the shock

If you've got 31 spline, does that mean you have a "soft" locker? If so, I thought they were supposed to be less noticable? Hmm...

"apparently" all the 31 splines trac tech builds that arent for nascar are softlockers. its in the part number for it (187SL-17B) sl for soft locker. its the only part number on trac tech's website for a 31 spline for a 9" so thats just the conclusion i drew from it

What is the difference between the soft locker vs regular locker? Does it just engage easier?

Do you know anything about the Trac-Tech part #'s? I just received a reply from Billingsley with the part# for the locker Strange uses. As far as I know it's a Detroit Locker just marketed differently. The part # Amber gave me was N1972 but I cant match this part number to anything on their web site. I want to make sure its a soft locker before I spend $2600.00
