12 bolt install?

How hard is it to install a strange 12 bolt in a home garage (jack stands and ramps no hyd lift here). Are there any speacialty tools I would need? I have done H/C and exhaust but never a rear end. Is there a pain in the *** part I should know about? Or is it worth just paying the 250 to have it done and be done with it?

Actually it's not hard at all; just make sure you have a friend to help. I did mine on jackstands with no problems. I pulled the stock rear end by myself, but needed help with the 12 bolt since it is heavier.

What is all needed other than the 12 bolt itself?

Basically you have to remove the whole rear suspension, drop the old rear end,install the new one and bolt everything back up. If you have any experience with modding the rear suspension this is easy; if not it will be a daunting task.

Crap! I have no experience with the rear. I've taken my engine apart and modded it but never the rear.

Jack, 2 jack stands,basic combination wrenches,sockets ,another person to help get it under the car to hold it up so you can get the shocks connected(I've done it by myself before but alot easier with help)and about 2-3 hours to be totally done with the job.
