what spline

trying to figure out what spline rear end id have for my 98 m6 z28 with abs and traction control..
26 or 28?

28 spline 32" axle.

what series carrier also?

and is that they only series carrier that can be used for when i put a new posi and gears back in?

2.73 rears use a 2 series carrier and you can get thicker style gears to work with them from Richmond. All other 3.23 and 3.42 cars got 3 series carriers.

the gm dealership told me i had to take the axles out and count because it could either be a 26 or 28. thats just what i was told when doing my locker install.
