28" ET Drag Question??
But if you are I reccomend 10.5 or 11.5, get more of a footprint <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
I have a pair of 28x13.5 ET Streets, which are almost the exact same size as a 28x11.5 ET Drag. They are very big tires.
I stick with the 10.5" tire because some races I run don't allow wider than a 10.5.
George, I don't want to do any fenderwell banging. Will I need to if I go with the 28x10.5's?

You may be able to get away without it, just depending on how everything sits under your particular car. I think I had some rubbing until I massaged the sheetmetal a little. Very little for the 10.5 though. The 28x13.5 ET Streets are much bigger, and took some serious pounding so they wouldn't rub. The area you'd have to hammer is absolutely out of sight (unless you have the wheel off the car), so it's really no biggie. There'd be a big traction difference between a 9" slick and a 10.5" slick.
