Default Are HALs worth it???

So then it is worth getting the complete set fronts and rears? From what I have heard is that the springs will offer no benifit from the stocks on the WS6's and SS's is this true or false. I too will be ordering HALs soon and would like to know what excatly to buy to benifit my application. I will be running 150 wet shot 6M...thanks for the help....

You will benefit in a big-time way from a set of front springs and shocks. You want the front end setup loose at the track to allow for proper weight transfer, and you want the rear setup stiffer to keep the car from squatting so much. If I were you, I'd install an airbag in the right rear spring, install the front springs and shocks, and see how it goes. It should work very well for you. I'll warn you now that the front springs will have the car sitting lower in the front. It looks AWESOME, but you'll have less clearance. You'll also have to adjust the shocks once or twice after installing them since the springs do take some time to settle.
I installed the front and rear Hal shocks w/ front drag springs on my '98 T/A, and my 60' times have never been so consistent! The first time out w/ the setup netted a 1.53 and three 1.54 60' times.

Go with the front struts and springs and an airbag for the rear.

hey I used to live in Bolingbrook...now I~m in Woodridge. What color is your car?
You `ll like the Hals...get `em! Both shocks and springs if you go to the track alot. Personnally, I`d get just the shocks .. but then again I like the swisties.(don`t bother with the rears)
oh yeah and is that a custom trans in that car....6M?? <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

a rear air bag is an inflatable air bag that goes in the right rear spring area so that you can load up the right side to get better traction. cause the motor causes a twisting force on the whole car, which is why you see the left front tires in the air and not the right on some cars, and when this happens it puts a lot of pressure on the right rear. the air bag helps keep the body straight and the weight transfer evenly distributed. hope this helps. anything i'm missing guys?
