Chris - I have the same 26x9x15" Hoosier slicks on the way, and I'm mounting them on 7.5" rims. The recommended rim width is 7-8" according to Summit's catalog. I was wanting to go no larger than the 7.5" Convo Pro w/ the 5" BS so it would tuck up under the fender nicely. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

FWIW....I've been running a 28x12.5/15 on my 15x8 Welds for a while with no issues. 8" rim is the minimum listed for this tire.

I thought the 7.5" Convo Pro w/5" BS sticks out? And you have to roll the fender lip?

Chris B, is correct Onyx.
If u run a full slick I'd opt for a 10in wheel.
At 13lbs my 15X8 w/26X10X15 slick is squirley up top.I'm switching to 15X10's
