What would hook better, 275-40-17 F1's or 235-60-15 BFG Drags?

What would hook better, 275-40-17 F1's or 235-60-15 BFG Drags? I know this may sound like a dumb question but, Which one would really hook harder? My data for the comparison..
275 = aprox 10.4 inches
235 = aprox 8.9 inches
BFG = much softer than F1
BFG has more side wall give at low pressure (12-14lbs)
A friend is going to lend me his BFG's but I don't know if they will hook any harder than my F1's.. What do you think?

The drag-radials will almost definitely launch better than the F1s.

Re: What would hook better, 275-40-17 F1's or 235-60-15 BFG Drags? Get M/T sportsman pros in a 15" or 16" they will hook better than any drag radial and you can use them for a daily driver. You can drop the clutch at 4000 rpm maybe more but I have never done it before. The 16" tires sale for about $120.
