It should. My service experience is identical to those above. Nothing but problems with my S60. Looks like I get to spend $800 to replace the axles and the gearset myself and I’m still not sure its going to fix their problems.

I recommend that anyone thinking of buying from strange read their "warranty" very carefully.

Good Luck with yours.

I got a Moser 12 bolt installed at EPP last year. I have over 20,000 miles on it with no problems. I do more daily type driving than thrashing on it.

I got my Dana installed. So far the only real issue is the ABS doesn't work. I called them up and they suggested to pull the cover and make sure the reluctor ring is there. They said if it's not, they will have someone in town fix it for me. I gotta say if they own up to that it's pretty impressive...compared to other stories I've heard.

I got mine from Tbyrne motorsports. The only issue I had with T-Byrne was the girl I was talking to didn't see very knowledgeable on the product...and when you are spending 2500+ on something it would be horrible if something came mis configured and it needed to be sent back. She also had to call me back on many questions I had. But, He got me a great deal slipping me into the GP, way past the due date.

You can't get an honest answer from anyone on which is better, everyone has their personal bias related to their personal experience. Each company has their problems, and each one has a lot of them reported.

I had the same thoughts as you...my Strange was delivered a couple weeks ago, and I'm still waiting on supporting parts to be able to put it in. I'm kinda on edge though - it looks nice just sitting there, but I haven't even checked the gear pattern on it yet. I'm hoping I got a quiet one, but am fully aware that I, too, might be spending lots of time and money fixing their mistakes. Seems to be a very common thread throughout the aftermarket rear industry. Kinda the chance you take...I probably should have had Mark Williams make me one so I wouldn't even have to worry.

You hit the nail on the head there...hell, I don't even drive on my CCW rims anymore because they are too hard to keep clean under daily driving conditions. I'm waiting to get them chromed...AFTER I get this rear end squared away.

Let me just put it this way - price a fully optioned Strange rear end (like I currently have in my garage). That was the price for just the wheels (maybe a little more if you got a deal on the Strange). Tires are pretty steep too

Gah, I promised my GF that the rearend be my last major purchase for the car. before I even turn a wrench on the Dana I have bought an extra block for a fully forged 383 super charged juiced motor...not to mentioned the fully built tranny I will need.

It just never ends does it?
