Hey! It was tough working those silly mini tower cases!!! I personally only buy FULL TOWER cases..alot easier to work on.. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Basically I need to shut my silly azz up till april when the 'correct' car shows up...

Nope...I talk to GM/Pontiac about that...
It was worth a shot(I didnt expect to get it), but no...no rebate..
I can only hope there is some new rebates when the car is delivered...

U have to pass the axle ratio U want and go to the 4 different tire options and either pick the 16 or 17 inch speed rated tires! Then only after U pick a proper speed rated tire will the 3.23 box allow U to check it off! I wonder if your dealer did not catch this when ordering because if he did not it will revert back to the non speed rated tires and the 2.73 ratio! U may need to hold your dealers hand as he is inputting your order and make sure he does it properly! <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> Unfortunatley these guys aren't always into the cars as much as their customers and need to be helped! <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> Good Luck this time around!

Thats 'exactly' what happened...
It was cuz they didnt specify the 'tire' that they said was the reason it shipped GU2 regardless of the GU5 request..
DUH.. In my 'logical' mind..
If you say GU5...SHIP IT!
Why? Its alot easier to swap TIRES then GEARS on an order!!
I can only imagne the MORON that saw the order..

Re: GU2 vs GU5..Need answer quick ..please Damn that sucks that you are going to lose that rebate! Why not make them take off at least 500 dollars since GM screwed up. Hell they have to take off the 300 for the missing gears. Have them throw in an extra few hundred for the agony they caused you and now you can do the gears or just go with a nice aftermarket TC. Just a thought.
