I bent axle will shop a lot of run out at the wheel - it wobbles. It will definitely cause a vibration as well as strange tire wear.
Put the car on jackstands and roll the wheels with a reference point next to the wheel. If the wheel moves a lot in reference to the fixed point, it's bent. Be sure and compare both sides and maybe one to the front so you are not just looking at normal wheel runout.

Yeah I have the same problem, but if you let it continue it will wear other things out. I just replaces my shaft with an aluminum one after I replaces the u-joints and wrecked those in about 50 miles. I had my car up on the dyno and they told me after watching it, jacking it up on stands, that what little vibration is left is the axle is bent cause they watched the wheel wobble along with the discs. Summit has Mosers for the pair $250 and bearings for about $30 bucks.
