I have a moser 12 bolt with 4.10's in it in a 99 T/A, when I make a turn right or left doesn't matter the rear makes this cluncking noise, the tranismission is in neautral with the clutch in or out doesn't matter. What is it???

Are you sure its not just the sound of the clutches locking and unlocking? My Moser w/33 spline and Eaton 800lb HD posi has made clunking noises since day one, and Moser and Eaton say its expected. It usually only does it when making a left or right turn, ie not just taking a corner, and usually only does it if no throttle is applied.

Sounds very familiar.. Pull the cover ASAP and I guarentee you it is the spider gears, you will see teeth missing on them. I had the same problem at about 5000 miles and it can do a lot of damage if you continue to drive it like that. I got lucky but I was told that it can cause your axels to twist which will void your axel warrnty if you have one. Again, pull the cover and take a look before you drive it again.
