Loctite: yea or nay on drive shaft bolts?

Loctite: yea or nay on drive shaft bolts? Had DS out for replacement of rear trans seal yesterday. Didn't see any recommendations for locking compound in the Helms manual, so I didn't use any. Is this right, or did I miss something?
