what is torque management?

Is it worth pulling out? Some say it has improved their ET, others say it's there to protect the trans during shifts, so why pull it.
Judgement call.
under throttle. Also shows up as flat
spot on up shift of A4.
LS1-edit supposedly has capability to
Change TM so it's only on when TCS is
switched on. Also can adjust degree of
TM using edit? One of these options
would be the way to go
Only way to pull fuse, also cancels ABS
system and sets code
If TM what that simple to get rid of
there would be alot less cars with it
than without

Since EW deleted it from my PCM, it's been a LOT better to drive, both part-throttle and WOT. It continues to charge hard through the shifts. I'd personally delete it if I were you. You'll have to get a built trans at some point anyways with the power you're looking at, so you might as well make the most of it.

So if what your saying is correct, my decision last week when I went to MTI to get gears, a converter, shift kit and torque management deleted is going to be a good decision? When in 3, if I floor it I hit a huge flat spot for a sec and then the rpms fly up and whack the rev limiter and then it shifts. If your telling me that this is caused by torque management, I'll be so glad to have it gone. Please tell me that flat spot will leave
at shift and to a degree following it
is TM.If your going from TM flat spot
to limiter, sounds like you need to adjust
shift point and limiter. IMHO
