If it has a bunch of locking teeth it is a zexel if it is an auburn it will have clutches seeing how ya posted that it isn't a WS6 it should be the zexel torsen they have teeth and they will make a lot of noise if there not smooth!

If it has springs it should have clutches!But it shouldn'tmake noises from the spiders baecause ime the spider gears sould start to turn is when the car turns its what links both wheels the carrier is going to be doing all the turning!May need to check the bearings or summtin!
