Default special crosspin needed for tall gear install??

i have a set of strange engineering 4.56 gears for a 10 bolt and im about to slap them in my car except i noticed that the richmond gears require a special cross pin that is notched to clear the big gear, does anyone have that part number to that pin? summit has one for 14 bucks but it says for use w/ a mini spool only, will that work or is it the $47 cross pin that is needed. thanks

What differential carrier are you using ??

There are manufacturers that already have these type of cross shafts and taller ratios.

my last set of gears the paddle would not go in without grinding of the ring gear teeth , they were 9/37 motives, the set I put in this weekend were 10/41 motives and the paddle block slid in no problems at all.
