Default 9inch, How to get the biggest tires??

I just got a 9inch for the car(02 Z28) What setups have you guys went with, to get the biggest set of tires under the car?? Are you narrowing the rearend at all? What Off set rims, so on. Im running the 275 MT Radials right now. Anybody do mini tubs, and have write up pics or anything? So far the 275 have been good to me, but when I do the 9inch, I want it to be able to hold a Massive set of tires. Thanks.

I have been researching the hell out of this same question. The BS on a stock width rear should be 7.5" So I just ordered my 9" housing yesterday narrowed 2.5" on each side. I am going to run Center Line Convo Pros with a 5" BS. This is because I like the wheels & they don't make them with a 7.5 and this way there is no grinding on the calipers. I am going to try a 325/15/50 tire. I have found some used 325's for free to do a trial & error to see how it works. Some have done it including this guy, I think they look https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=325%2F50%2F15
