It's sort of intermittent, but alot of times my rear makes a very noticeably chattering when turning only at slow speeds. It's done it since the rear was new and I do have GM posi additive in there. I've been in other cars with the same rear and didn't notice it. Do you think there is a problem? You can feel it locking and unlocking through the drivetrain.

do you have the HD posi in there? I'd imagine it opens and closes harder than a std posi....
You want to hear something interesting when making turns...try a locker

I had problems with mine because it wasn't centered...got an adj. PHR and that solved everything. HD posi here too...

My Moser Nine chatters going around some corners at slow speeds also. I think it's inherent in the design. I changed the fluid, and it still did it. So, I guess it's okay.

It's the nature of the HD posi. They have 800lb springs in them
A 9" with a locker is no fun with a M6 It used to sound like shitty shitty bang bang when I would take a slow turn and not take it out of gear.
Don't worry your 12 Bolt is fine.

Mine didn't before but with the new Ram clutch yeah it chatters around corners.
Making noise is fine, as long as it holds

Some FYI...
The replacement 33-spline Eaton posi I bought from Moser had carbon-fiber clutches in it, and therefore did not need the posi-additive that is needed with non-carbon fiber clutches.
Hasn't made any chattering yet.
BTW - Pyle Bros. in Baytown Texas is da shiznit when it comes to setting up a rear-end properly. Another happy customer here.
