I did a google search and this is one thing i found.

Not sure what it bolts onto or how well it holds up or if they even still make it.

link to the website is http://autoweldchassis.com/vbi.ivnu

If that rearend is for a 3rd gen, you will need 3rd gen offset wheels from now on. So if you ran a 15x10 Draglite, you would need a 6.5 not a regular 7.5.

will it bolt up? yes

only real diff would be the offset of the rims....that axle is roughtly 1.5" shorter then your current one.

heh, ive swapped back and forth between 3rdgen and 4thgen axles several times.... right now im running a "LT1" rear...

all the suspension pickup points are identical, only the width is diffrent.

i donno about that unique TQ arm delete thing though... id buy that rear, but use normal LCAs and one of SEVERAL 9" TQ arm mounts out there....

Sorry fellas, I haven't checked this thread lately. Yes there is the one posted from Auto-weld chassis, which looks nice because it makes your factory torque arm bracket adjustable if your using it. Also Currie enterprises also offers one as well. The currie one is a weld on setup i believe.

call currie or call strange or call PA racing or google it online and wade thru the results to find several of the smaller companies doing it. Moser usually wont sell their TQ arm mount separately, but everyone else does.

most of the better ones dont just bolt on. they have tubes, regular, easy to fab tubes, that are welded to the housing, just next to the centersection bolt ring. the bracket then bolts to it.

cool, so it is possible to swap then.. i emailed moser about the axles and housing ends and trq arm mount. heres what they said

We can sell you new axles with the exciter rings installed. I do not sell the torque arm brackets independently (only mounted to my housing).
The axles with bearings, studs and new exciter rings will be; $590.00
New housing ends are $80.00.
I do not have caliper brackets your stock brackets will work.
