Default Stock rear end gear?

I'm trying to find out my gear ratio, so I looked for the GU2 or GU5 on the door sticker. I have two stickers; one for tires and the other is codes. I don't see it on either. Am I going to have to drive at 67mph or 80mph like the Sticky says to find out?

I don't know that your year, used the same codes.
Maybe, or not. If you have a sticker full of codes
on the door then one of them has to be axle, but
you probably want the info off a LT1 site that's got
the straight scoop.

I'm actually going to. I'm in a school shop class so I'm going to change the rear fluid. My teacher always tries to get me to use this "Professional's Choice" crap that I've already used in my engine and trans. For the rear, I'm going to use Royal Purple or Mobil 1 so I limit the possibility of breaking it.

But I did do the thing where if I drive at 67mph@2000rpm(2.73) or 80mph@2000rpm(3.23). And according to this, I have 3.23 gears.

its the other way around 67@2000 rpm(3.23) and 80@2000(2.73) think about it, taller gear = more mph per rpm

common mistake

Well damnit then, I don't want 2.73s. Well is there any difference in stock 1/4 mile times between 2.73s and 3.23s? But I don't know why I ran a 13.7 in the quarter when the only thing done is LPE intake and Flowmaster MUFFLER (not exhaust). Yes, it is an LT1.
