GM posi lube...Whats in it?

GM posi lube...Whats in it? Just wonderin...I had a problem with my rear soundin like a spool. It was so bad that I could hear it goin straight.
I called Richmond and asked and they told me to make sure to put the GM stuff in there.
I just had my rear apart the night before because of a stripped stud. All GM dealers were closed so I put the thickest weight I could buy in it..GL5
I put the GM lube in it today and she's as quiet as Richmond gears can be. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
What is in that stuff?

Re: GM posi lube...Whats in it? When I worked at the dealer we would go up to the parts guys and ask for a bottle of whale sperm. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Thats what we would call the additive.I have no idea what it is,some kind of high tech slippery goop.

Re: GM posi lube...Whats in it? we are a gm dealer not sure what is in it know it use to be whale sperm.Part number 1052358 dealers cost is 4.80 just to help u guys out a little bit.
