well guys im finaly gonna do it and slap on some nitto 555r's and also headers and y pipe.. yes it is a m6 and im making a round 340rwhp as of right now.. headers and ypipe say 20rwhp give or take.. will the 10bolt hold up with 315/35/17 dr's on back. and also how can i prevent it from braking

My 10 bolt has t/a girdle,welded tubes and a solid leaf, I run M/T e.t's and it holds up just fine. The guy who did the rear had the same setup done to his, And he was running 11.2s and spraying out the hole on winks.

Roll into the throttle and try to keep the car from dead hooking. Anything over 3500rpms and a decent hook is gonna ask for a flatbed. On my 245 16 555R's I cut a 1.9 60 and it sounded like marbels in the rear. I just mounted by 275's and only race at tracks that are within 100 miles of my house. AAA+ tows 100 miles for free!

I've been 10.40 on a 1.52 60' with the stock 10 bolt and 3.42's, no girdle, no welded tubes, etc. . . That's the exception, not the rule, though. Stock 6 speed cars have broken them on the street. I broke one from role on the street in 2nd gear.

I ran 11's on a 10 bolt on ET streets with 3.23 gears, all day long.

WOW how much dos these upgrades to your stock 10bolt cost and where can you get this done at...

i still have my 10 bolt leaving the line at 4000-4500 slipping the spec 3 clutch out not dumping with spray no whines or anything yet. That is with drag radials .

I did a 2.14 60 with 245/40/18ZR street tires, I feathered the clutch from 2500 then mashed it, all on a 73K mile rear, and a 10K mile stock clutch.
