Default Has anyone's BMR Torque arm done this.....pics

Looks like either the bolt broke or the nut came off and then the bolt popped out...

It was set at -2.5deg b/c I had just adjusted it last weekend for the track this weekend. I was taking off from work to head to Norwalk and I just head a bang and thud from the rear and I new something was fugged. I can't fix it without a lift either, which will be tomorrow....

That's pretty ugly. Let us know how BMR takes care of this.

I seriously doubt the hardware broke. That is some high grade stuff. More than likely the bolt worked itself loose and fell out.

from the pics those bolts looked pretty small to me so its quite possible it broke since that bottom bolt takes a helluva lot of abuse

I emailed them on fri night about it. No word yet today. I'm going to give them a call on my lunch break and talk with them to see what can be done to correct this.

The thing worked beautifully up until this problem. BMR has been great to work with so far, I have alot of their stuff on my car, so hopefully things will go smooth on getting this fixed...I'll keep you updated.

I agree with Nineball. Use Loctite the torque sees a lot of vibration.

I just got off the phone with, BMR, Brett I believe (not sure). And he was extremely nice. They are sending me two replacement bolt/nuts to replace the missing one and the current one.

He told me that those are just left hand tightened from his shop, and should be torqued to 100ft/lbs after the pinion angle is set. That was something I never did.

I will be using loctite on them this time and torque them to spec.
