Rear End Noise!!!!

Rear End Noise!!!! ever since i dumped the clutch on my ws6 i have had a wierd noise comming from under the bottom of the middle of the two rear seats. it is at its loadest around the 60-80 mph range and i fear i may have cracked my rear end or could it be a bearing? please help i have no clue what to due i know that sound isnt normal it is like a humming sound and i know its from the suspension any feedback would be greatly appreciated thank you!!!!
Probably a axle bearing. I just switched to a 9 inch, thought my gears on the 10 bolt were probably on the way out but after taking the backing plate off the the ring and pinion looked fine, however this thing would howl like crazy rolling down the interstate. Could hear it over the radio and duals.

i cant see it being an axle bearing as there really isnt much load on that bearing. Now the carrier bearings, those would take the brunt of a shock to the driveline like dumping the clutch. The caps which cover those bearings are cast steel, they make T/A covers just to keep them from distorting. From what you described I believe a cap may have distorted causing a carrier bearing to make noise. Without taking it apart I coudnt gaurentee thats what it is.
