Need Help! Hey guys, I have a 2000 z28 as well as a thirdgen. I bought a 4.10 ring and pinion for my thirdgen but the car is now up for sale. The gear is still new in the box. I was wondering if anyone knows if the 7.5" GM 10 bolt 4.10 for the thirdgen can be used in my ls1. The only differences are the splines when looking at new gears for the ls1 and the thirdgen. the ls1 has 28, whereas the thirdgen has 26 (or viceversa, i forgot which is which). Will the gear fit and work right in my ls1?

Spilnes are in the carrier not the gears. 7.5" ring and pinion will fit any 7.5" in camaro, firebird (f-body) monte carlo, cutlass, skylark (G-body) and "S" series truck. S-10 & S15 you just have to know what series carrier the gears are for.
My car is an A4. Here's the exact details of each ring and pinion. I just need to know if the thirdgen ring and pinion will fit and work properly in the ls1 because i already have the gears, no sense in buying new ones if i have these already.
