Just ordered my 9" from Speed Inc. yesterday. Going with 4.10's and Eaton Posi and the full 4 channel. I didn't go locker cause my car sees alot more street than track. For anyone who has it in, how much HP loss was there if known?

Only thing that's going to be scared is those little AWD import cars getting their asses handed to them off the line as well as a roll now! *evil laugh* hahah i won't be afraid to give this thing hell from a stop once it's broken in

yeah that's a nice cam you have there as well if i do say so myself that's what i have...anyways...... yeah i had to do a little grinding to get my BMR Torque Arm Mount to fit on the rear end...here's a few pics of what i did tonight. i also bent up some new brake lines that fit the contour of the new rear end nicely!
this is what i had to grind down a little

then my computer desk center piece!

I got mine broke in last week & threw the M/T's back on hook & go is the name of the game now. I cant help it but I just have to launch on everyone. The best thing that I've done for the car so far hands down. Now all I need is some more HP. Hmmm, blue bottle perhaps

yea more power will be on the list for next year...i kinda spent a good chunk of change on this and some other things....im a full time student. so it takes me a while to save up my money. but since im out for the summer i've been back working full time which is nice. plus my boss pays me cash$$ so that's a bonus. and now is our busy season so the loot is coming at a decent rate.....next year will be a motor and turbo setup i believe. and a cage!

badass pics man! I'm in the same boat as you, my 10 bolt just crapped so I'm looking for a 12bolt or 9inch, I'm leaning towards the 9inch for obvious reasons, but are there any tremendous weight differences between the two?

From the lurking and pondering I have done on the subject, I have gleaned the following weights. If anyone has verified numbers that are different, please speak up.

10 bolt is around 155 lbs
12 bolt is around 189 lbs
9" Ford is around 204 lbs
Dana 60 is around 214 lbs

i'm not sure. i think it just needs a different yoke at the end to bolt onto the 9 inch. i just said **** it and bought a whole new driveshaft with my 9 inch order!
