9" or 12 bolt for M6

is it better to have one or the other for a M6...someone was telling me 9'' set ups were better for M6. Just curious....

a t-56 can still break a 12 bolt. it happens often enough. 12 bolts are for automatics. a manual should really consider a 9 inch or an S60. you don't wanna make a $2500 mistake. a 9" is much closer to a guarantee than a 12 bolt is. just search "broken moser".

im going with a 9"
for $2400+ i dont want it to break and teh 12 bolt could but the 9" has a very slim chance of breaking

Understandable that you would say that, but the database was only going back about a week or so. It's fixed now

but I still say it's a valid discussion topic. I hope we don't become "use the search *****"

The Ford 9" loss of power, size (big) and potential loss of abs..

My say, if you are a hardcore drag racer and making over 600 rwhp get the Ford. If not buy a 12-bolt in pieces with the parts you want, and assemble it yourself or have a competent tech do it.

But as keliente said, personal choice..
