Question T/A rear end girdle.

I tried a search but got nothing. I bought mine used to begin with. Now the question I have is what are the 2 nuts on the back used for? DO they need to be adjusted? I have a little rear end fluid coming out of them but nothing serious. I checked to see if it was low and it's not.

teflon tape will stop the leaks.

The 2 buts on the back are support for your rear main bearings. Torque them to 5lb-ft.

You will need an inch/lb torque wrench to do this.

8. Torque the load bolts to 5 ft/lbs. (60 in/lbs.) MAXIMUM, for too much torque could egg-shape the bearings. DO NOT OVER TORQUE LOAD BOLTS.
